Hi Bedlamites,
You've received this email because you are a member
of Friends of Bedlam at www.bedlamites.co.uk
A few quick updates:
There are FoB "committee meetings" (aka "drinking") in Edinburgh
and London on Tuesday April 5th "after work" at The Salisbury (London)
and at 8pm at Cloisters in Edinburgh. See www.bedlamites.co.uk
for maps and directions.
London Party - May 7th
Don't forget the annual London Friends of Bedlam gathering
on Saturday May 7th in The Glasshouse Stores, Soho.
NSDF
Congratulations to the EUTC team who took "Scaramouche Jones" to
the National Student Drama Festival in Scarborough. Supported by
EUTC and a grant from FoB, the show was described as "a tour de force"
by the Sunday Times, no less.

There are only ten theatre companies selected for NSDF, and EUTC
beat off selection competition from universities including Oxford
and Cambridge.
Term is over
The Bedlam has closed for the Easter holidays after the end of Semester Two.
Semester three is a mere 5 weeks long, and for exams only. The Bedlam is
only going to be open for Improverts once a week as all the students are
working hard for exams (so they tell us...)
Preparation for the Fringe, and for Freshers Week is already under way.
On April 1st, the old EUTC committee retired and headed into the wild blue
yonder (blinking in the unaccustomed daylight) to try and rescue their
respective degrees from certain destruction, and the new committee took office.
Well done to ex-president Matt Gray for surviving a year, and we wish
new president Miriam Raines every success for the coming year.
"Grady Hot Potato", new writing by Lucy Kirkwood
was the last EUTC mainterm of this semester. Featuring a revolve
built of boxed-steel, the show is being submitted to NSDF for next year.
London - Improv
"Non Stop News" - improvised comedy based around a 24hr news station.
Monday 18th April @ 8pm, Etcetera Theatre, Camden
